You’ve eaten all your chocolate, enjoyed a public holiday your eager for a drink but you don’t know what to have… well you’ve come to the right place. This cocktail was specifically designed for this.
An Easter Nightcap: it’s unlike any other dessert, after dinner, last minute cocktail you’ve had before. It utilises our Hot Cross Bun Spiced Gin and that’s what makes this stand out from the crowd. Get ready to shop so you can nurse this cocktail when you’re lying on the couch in a chocolate coma.
You’ll need Bobby’s London Dry Gin: You can use Bobby’s London Dry Gin or use this recipe to make Hot Cross Bun Spiced Gin. Kahlua: Coffee liqueur anyone? It makes this cocktail ever so sweet and frankly you can’t have a nightcap without kahlua. Pouring Cream: Makes the drink a tiny bit more delicate, airy and give a perfect top of foam to the cocktail. Ground Nutmeg: Just to dust over the top, mellows out the sweetness and gives the drink bite.
- 30ml Hot Cross Bun Spiced Gin or Bobby’s London dry Gin
- 30ml Kahlua
- 30ml Pouring Cream
- Combine 30ml of gin with the Kalua, Pouring Cream and ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Shake to your hearts content and pour into a small glass, we used a bullshot glass.
- As the foam forms on top the layers of the drink should appear, dust the top with nutmeg.
