At Unexpected Guest Distillery we infuse every function of our operation with energy and whimsy to create an experience complimented with a playful gin that showcases the true exploratory nature of distillation. We have a passion for excellence, experience and energising the gin landscape in Australia. We’ve embarked on the gin frontier and doing it all with flare.
This vibrant country is home to a plethora of unique botanicals and native flavour profiles, why would we use anything else? Creating world-class gin requires a stocked shelf of distinctive botanicals that enhance the electric feeling of gin experimentation.
With our Bobby cheeky is the word, juniper forward with a hint of pepper popping out. Clementine arrives with exciting flavours of Australian lavender to break the traditional gin rules. As Clementine exits, Young Tom bursts onto the scene with his affinity to native lemon myrtle and the sweetness of liquorice root. Disco Flamingo is not one to be forgotten with an edginess that’s irresistible, this will be your summer love.

After a year of refining our scrumptious flavours, with one or two funny smells wafting from the lab, we’ve created the ultimate plus one. An experience so unthought of, so off kilter, it’s completely unexpected. Arriving with a bright orange kombi that’s hard to miss and two big copper stills, we bring the gin experience to you.
