Unexpected Trivia Has Taken on a Life of Its Own

What started as a fun, in-house event to liven up chilly winter nights at the distillery has officially outgrown our wildest expectations. We just wanted a trivia night for people like us—the ones who sit through regular pub trivia, waiting for one obscure question to make the night worth it.

Turns out, we weren’t alone. From Bad Movies to Vanderpump Rules to Real Housewives, it’s clear everyone has a passion for something a bit pointless but deeply loved. The bookings kept rolling in, trivia nights kept filling up, and then last week happened.

Simpsons Trivia. Sold out. 40+ people on the waitlist. Panicked phone calls. 4 a.m. emails. Someone even showed up hours early hoping for a table (sorry!). The demand has been unreal.

It’s clear this isn’t just a one-off success—people want niche-specific trivia, with themed cocktails, questions written by real fans, and their knowledge properly tested in fun, inventive ways.

And honestly? Our DMs need a break. So, Unexpected Trivia is officially becoming its own thing.

What This Means Moving Forward

We know that not everyone who loves our gin loves trivia, and not everyone obsessed with our trivia wants to hear about gin. So, it makes sense to separate the two entities while keeping the same spirit of fun and community.
